First-ever Parade of Gardens highlights local water-wise landscapes – June 15

Colorful perennials, striking shrubs and beautiful fountain grasses are the medium of choice when it comes to the art of water-wise gardening. Come explore these vibrant, low-water retreats right here in the heart of Castle Rock.

The Parade of Gardens is a free, guided tour of local landscapes on Saturday, June 15 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The parade will take you through some of the most beautiful and eclectic ColoradoScapes in our community. This event is designed to inspire through the creativity of gardens that mimic Colorado’s natural habitat.

Visitors can travel in their own vehicle to see each property, or sign up to be escorted in a van. Each van trip is between two and two and a half hours and will visit three homes. Visitors can see all six highlighted homes by registering for a morning and afternoon tour. Tours leave at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Only the yard is open to the public to view and walk through. A guide will be on hand to provide a tour and answer questions.

The event is free, but registration is required. Maps will be provided upon registration.
