Xeric Design Workshop

Thursday, May 25, 2017

Xeric design is not the creation of harsh and stark landscapes, but the addition and placement of low-water-use plants. The “Principles of Xeriscape Design” focuses on Colorado xeriscape style and provides design ideas that are aesthetically beautiful and diverse while also great for the high, arid climate of Castle Rock.

The workshop outlines the benefits of low-water-use plants, watering considerations and design layouts; as well as provides the top 10 trees and shrubs that thrive in Castle Rock.

Registration is required.

Instructor: Water Conservation Plan Reviewer Ruth Stadler, who in addition to her M.S. in Horticulture has more than 20 years of experience designing and building xeriscapes.
