Rebates

The rebates / incentives offer ways for you to be more water efficient. All rebate participants must attend a Water Wiser Workshop and complete an application. Funds are limited, and availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications for 2017 rebates will be accepted beginning March 8, 2017.

Smartscape Renovation Program

The smartscape renovation program encourages residential water customers to convert water-thirsty plant materials, such as Kentucky Bluegrass, into water wise landscapes. A rebate of $1 per square-foot is available for the removal of any high-water-use plant material and replacement with Xeriscape or hardscape. Appropriate changes or reductions in the associated irrigation system must also be completed. The Smartscape Renovation Rebate Application must be completed for this rebate. A printable version is available if you are unable to complete the application online.

Smart Irrigation Controller (ET controller)

The Smart Controller rebate encourages residents to upgrade their old controllers with new weather-based or soil moisture-based technology. Rebates are available for up to 50 percent of the cost of a controller, with a maximum of $300; nonresidential customers have a maximum of five controllers.
